Stephanie Labou is the Data Science Librarian with the UC San Diego Library. She provides user assistance with datasets and data analysis through general reference, in-person consultations, and collection development of licensed and open access data. Stephanie also co-manages the library’s Data & GIS Lab, provides instruction and short-form workshops on coding skills and best practices, including the popular Software and Data Carpentry workshops, and acts as the library liaison for the data science major and the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute.
