Matthew Ragucci

Biography

Matthew Ragucci is the Associate Director of B2B Product Marketing at <a href="https://www.wiley.com/en-us">Wiley</a>, where he provides insight on metadata sharing strategies for optimizing electronic resources and improving global library customer experience. Matthew has 6 years’ experience in academic publishing, and has been working for over a decade in various library settings. He currently serves as on the <a href="http://www.nasig.org/site_page.cfm?pk_association_webpage_menu=1346&pk_association_webpage=8671">NASIG Standards Committee</a>, <a href="https://www.niso.org/press-releases/2019/01/niso-launches-new-project-improve-communication-around-content-platform">NISO Content Platform Migration Working Group</a>, and <a href="https://www.snsi.info/librarian-resources/">SNSI University Relations Group</a>. He also holds a part-time position as a reference and instruction librarian at Brookdale Community College.  Matthew earned his Master’s in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University in 2010.  His publications are “<a href="https://doi.org/10.1080/0361526X.2021.1875390">Walk This Way: Online Content Platform Migration Experiences and Collaboration</a>,” “<a href="https://doi.org/10.1080/0361526X.2017.1388331">Evidence-Based Acquisition: A Real Life Account of Managing the Program Within The Orbis Cascade Alliance</a>,” and “<a href="https://doi.org/10.1080/0361526X.2019.1586052">MARC Metamorphosis: Transforming the Way You Look at E-Book Records</a>.” His interests are metadata, standards, reference, and user experience.
