John is the Associate University Librarian for Information Technology and Collections at Coastal Carolina University. He has worked in academic library technology for 35+ years and is a former patent holder and co-founder of Journal Finder, the first OpenURL Resolver and knowledge base to go into production in the United States. He is currently Chair of the SeamlessAccess Outreach Committee and a member of the ALA Core Authentication and Authorization Committee.
