<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, MLS, LEED AP, is currently the executive director of the Mid-Hudson. Library System in New York. She is the co-founder of the </span><a href="https://sustainablelibrariesinitiative.org/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sustainable Libraries Initiative</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and co-creator of the award-winning Sustainable Library Certification Program. Rebekkah currently services as the chair of the ALA Council Committee on Sustainability and is the sustainability columnist for </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Library Journal.</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Author of Sustainable Thinking: Ensuring Your Library’s Future in an Uncertain World; Resilience, part of the ALA Futures Series; and Libraries and Sustainability: Programs and Practices for Community Impact, Rebekkah focuses her professional attention on helping libraries and library workers be successful in the face of disruption and uncertainty.</span></p>
