NISO Unfettered Access Series #4 - Duff Johnson, PDF Association

Each year, NISO hosts a number of other virtual events, most of which are free and open to all. These include our annual members meeting, updates on NISO standards, online workshops, and more. Recordings are made openly available to the community as soon as possible after the event.

Duff founded and led several businesses in the electronic document industry. Today, as CEO of the PDF Association, Duff coordinates its industry activities pertaining to the advancement and adoption of PDF technology. In addition to his PDF Association responsibilities Duff serves in technical roles as Project Leader for ISO 14289 (PDF/UA) and as Project co-Leader for ISO 32000 (the PDF specification). He also chairs the US Technical Advisory Committee (TAG) for ISO TC 171 SC 2, and serves as its Head of Delegation. He can be reached at duff.johnson@pdfa.org.
