Karim Boughida

Executive leader with a demonstrated history of working in the higher ed, IT, library, and data sectors. Skilled in AI, emerging tech, data management, archival and library research, innovation management, product/program management, team building, etc. During his tenure, he has led campus-wide innovation initiatives and strategic partnerships, including ones for a makerspace, XR Lab, Launch Lab, and AI Lab. His previous roles include AUL for digital initiatives and content management for George Washington University, senior info systems architect for Getty, and senior product manager for Endeavor Information Systems, among others. He is on the editorial board and associate editor of the peer-reviewed International Journal on Digital Libraries. Boughida completed his bachelor degree in library science from the University of Constantine, Algeria, and he earned his master’s degree in library and information science from Université de Montréal, Canada.
