Kelsey George, Cataloging & Metadata Strategies Librarian at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, received her MLIS from Syracuse University. Kelsey serves as a member of ALA, LITA, ALCTS, and the Nevada Library Association. Before working at UNLV, Kelsey worked for five years as a paraprofessional in both public and academic libraries–at the circ desk, as a cataloger, children’s library assistant, and young adult services coordinator. She is passionate about issues regarding accessibility, representation, and metadata.
